<>Wiper Motor Problem.

Hi Doc,
I've got a '72 240, and the wiper motors died. could only get 280 parts for replacement. now, while the wipers work, they won't automatically return to a "parked" position... suggestions? (i'm willing to even search for old 240 motors again, but i didn't have time before the rain started...).

Doc here... you need to look at the old wiper motor and check to see of there are the same number of connections on the plug. The other thing is that I can check out the motor and maybe refurbish it for you. It may be that the 280 one has a problem with the park switch.........

280Z Dies SudenlyTravis here(Zonc #98029), in Fresno. I have a problem with my 1977 280z which I can not figure out. It started today. Just driving down the road the car shut off, I disengaged the clutch and it started right back up. I drove it home only about a mile. Tonight I drove it to FSU and it shut off 3 times on the way there, while it was cold and running at temp. I just hooked up a test light to the fuel pump and drove the car. The light is inline with the pump so when the pump is getting power the light is on.
