I have used several GM manuals and even later Z manuals but for some reason they seem much simpler to follow than this one.. Anyway, I am not sure if I have what the manual refers to as a EFI or ECCS engine, so not sure which set of materials to use. I do not find a page to determine what I have, other than 'component parts' pages. The ECCS page shows a turbo as a component, which I do not have, but it does show a EGR valve (EFI page does not) which I do have. In addition, the ECCS page shows a power transistor. Any thoughts on this?. But the real problem. I changed the oil today and now the car won't start! Wow!. Actually, it is acting like it is flooded. I see spark by pulling a wire and holding it close to jump, plugs are wet with fuel and pump is running. Where do I start? Would a failed TPS in full position cause flooding? Can I disconnect and start without it? I have heard of failed coolant sensors causing the ECU to think it was cold and needed enrichment to start? If I disconnect that, will the ECU set some defaults link a GM and allow the vehicle to run, albeit poorly?. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer..
